‘CSP’ (Cold-Shower-Phobia) THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION
If you have phobia for cold shower, you can administer any of the following psychological interventions:
1. SHOCK THERAPY
Tools: Shower/Small Bowl and Bucket
Method: Step into the bathroom. Breathe in and out. Relax and be comfortable. Count 1-10 and somewhere in-between, step under the cold shower or pour cold water from the bucket on yourself with the aid of a bowl. Your soul may momentarily step out of your body due to sudden shock but you’ll be alright within seconds.
2. SYSTEMATIC DESENSITIZATION
Tools: Oh, you gonna need Small Bowl and Bucket for this one.
Method: Step into the bathroom. Breathe in and out. Relax and be comfortable. Scoop some water from the bucket into the bowl. Do this every time you exhaust the water in the bowl. Wash your face. Avoid water touching your torso. Wash your lower limbs. Wash your upper limbs and as much as possible, avoid water touching your torso. Wash your torso (by this time, your body would have started getting accustomed to cold water). For the first few minutes, use your hand to scoop water from the bowl to your torso; DO NOT pour water directly from the bowl. After a couple of minutes, when every part of your body is well-adjusted to cold water, you can pour freely.
Well, gas failed this morning and electricity failed too, leaving me with options 1 and 2. I had no liver for the former so I jejely opted for the latter (I cannot coman goan kee maisef😜).
